El Mundo & Satori are back on 90watts with "The Boat That Rocks", a package of funky, rolling and rocking tech-house beats.
With their smashing releases over the last few months, the guys from Nijmegen, eastern Netherlands, are the rising stars of the global electronic music scene. Respected artists like Karotte, Michel de Hey, DJ Sneak and Tim Andresen recommend El Mundo & Satori to be next big thing.
On this “The Boat That Rocked” EP, the guys turned into the funky, hippie soul sides of house music. Rolling basslines and bouncy grooves all over the tracks and even a passionated preacher will certainly make the crowd go wild. Some may call it house music, some call it tech-house. The guys themselves call it "old school funk".
On special demands from dj's in our network, we also decided to enclose a "Speechless Dub" version. Daniel Sanchez remixed "The Boat That Rocked" for his "Minutes Of Love" remix series and and Mulder completes the package with a remix of "Stay Tuned".

As the promo did very well, with support by the likes of Gregor Tresher, Monika Kruse, Dr. Kucho and Richie Hawtin, who downloaded the tracks, this brand new release by Unders & Sven Prinsen is set for big things.
Well respected in the Dutch underground electronic music scene, both guys have been building on their reputation since a long time. Unders has quite some history, bringing artists such as Booka Shade and Trentemøller to a variety of events he organized in the Netherlands. Besides that his dj career is successful with residencies at Studio 80, Electronation, Karotte's Kitchen and more.
Sven Prinsen is known as one half of Sven & Tettero, being a successful dj duo with gigs all over the Netherlands. Besides DJing and being a record freak, Sven is a passionated producer. With this release he shows his production skills for the first time in collaboration with Unders. more tracks to come but be sure to feel this one.
Ancient Greece
Inspired by the old days of ancient Greece, where Minotaurs and Gods pursued the nightlife, Unders & Sven Prinsen bring their most cinematographic and bombastic sounds into a couple of very danceable tracks, which is really surprising. Unders: “Think Mythology, think hollywood in a new age suit.”
Nuno Dos Santos, well known for his productions on Compost and his “360” clubbing events, made a masterpiece of a remix.
Unders & Sven Prinsen’s EP “Dancing With The Minotaur” is out now and exclusively available on Beatport.
90watts is celebrating springtime with this fresh new music from Romania by Optick and Ciprian Lemnaru.
DJ Optick is one of the big rising stars in his country, with his award winning “Revolution” song, a featuring with Tara McDonald. Together with Ciprian Lemnaru, another upcoming hero in the Romanian scene, he also took the second place, with their track “Maya”, which is really a hype in Romania.
It’s an honour to us that we may release this hot track exclusively to the world, together with a superb club track called “Kukta”. Last but not least, one of our favourite label producers Marten Fisher made a very special remix of Maya with even an additional vocal touch on top.
Support
We got massive support on the promo by the likes of SLAM, Markus Schulz, Anderson Noise, Andy Mowat, PQM, James Nidecker, Mr. Jones, Paul Hazendonk, PrinsJan (538 Dance Department), Joan Ribas (Ibiza Global Radio), Russel Deeks (iDJ magazine) and many more..
Connected EP is now exclusively available on Beatport.com.
Back from a short escape into the more soulful sounds of house music, 90watts returns with a slightly more minimal tech-house package this time.
As they are really representative DJs and promotors in the Amsterdam electronic dance scene, the Presetone guys (ONNO and Victor Coral) bring the Guilty Secrets of the dancefloor into their debut release on 90watts. ONNO: "with this track we tried to recreate this twisted, hands up, heads down 5AM club feeling we all love so much :)". We keep it simple: Three useful groove tools for the dance floor.
Original Mix: atmospheric, deep, large, dry
Marcus Gehring Remix: deep, funky twist, sexy, cosy, intimate, tube
El Mundo & Satori Remix: bouncy, warm, deep, el mundo & satori sound
About PRESETONE
Using Preset One is usually not done... but in this case you have to think twice. This collaboration between two people will become the joined force of something not to miss. Victor Coral and ONNO who have known each other for years, decided to get together in the studio and the results in this premature stage already makes you want to call your mom about it.
Victor Coral as one of Hollands chiefs at the decks, recruited his fame from his Chemistry background. In 2000 he became the face of RUSH, he had a smashing time working his way into the best clubs & festivals, and made his name into one that people won?t forget. The combination of his colourful persona and slamming dj-sets made him one of the most in demand dj?s in the Dutch dance scene and brought him many international gigs as well. In 2006 Victor decided to build a studio in his living room and he taught himself to control the buttons. He is collaborating with Amsterdam based label 90Watts.
In the meantime ONNO also made his mark on the Dutch dance scene by becoming the youngest ever resident of Chemistry in 2001. A few years later he started his productions career in collaboration with Rocco Mundo. Their initial material prompted Sander Kleinenberg to personally call and comment on the quality and freshness of the productions, and tracks were picked up by labels like Little Mountain, Renaissance and Stealth Records. Gigs from all over the world, from Paris to Miami, soon followed. As a resident dj of the Earth Parties and selecting his gigs to the finest, he concurred his well respected place in the dance scene.
Tenaglia meets the funky 2010 sound? Techhouse meets deephouse? Quality meets inventiveness? All of the above are suitable for this brandnew Solar Brothers release, which is pretty surprising for anyone who knows the typical 90watts sound. It's quite a different breed.
Get ready to groove your thang! The soulful and sweet voice of Miss Sherry makes you want to wander into the funkiest yet techy depths of the night.
By all means an excellent toolset which will be proven very suitable for different approaches to make the crowd go berserk.
Complementing this release, definitely check out legendary Australian producer PQM's remix duties on this one. Taken things in another direction, his distinctive dreamy methods really fit the vibe here.
