Free Men We Are, their debut release on 90watts last June became a floorfiller on many dance festivals and got massive support by the award winning radioshow dance department. Now, the boys from Nijmegen, eastern Netherlands, surprised us again with these superb tracks.
Valley of the Kings: uplifting tech-house track with a trippy catchy esoteric Egyptian feel to it combined with superb climaxes.
Four Roses: a beautiful deep-tech house track with again the trippy influences, cool soundscapes and African voices.
Valley of the Kings (Kid Culture remix): a tech-house remix with a fast tribal groove and a monster bassline, after the break it totally breaks the ground with a superb climax full of energy.
Valley of the Kings (Kenquo remix): a deeeeeeeeep-tech house remix with a nice wobbly bassline with some soundscape elements of the original track.
About El Mundo & Satori
El Mundo & Satori go by the names of Pim van der Burgt and Djordje Petrovic. Two energetic, enthousiastic and ambitious guys from Nijmegen. They both have a big passion; dancemusic..
During the period they've been working together they both have more or less the same philosophy about life and especially dancemusic. They believe life is about having a good time. And that what's music and dancing is all about: Having a good time! This is recognisable in their performances as well as in their productions. Their style is influenced by live instruments and can be described as funky, deep and offcourse the most important thing: danceable. Therefore they both understand what it comes to give people a good time. It's all about setting dancefloors on fire, over and over again.
Both have had their experience in producing and djing for quite some years. El Mundo has been djing for 8 years; starting off with hard pounding techno. Through the years he found his passion for percussive deephouse and (tech-)house. Satori is a really talented en dedicated musician. He comes from a very musical talented family and besides playing piano he has been djing for about 3 years. Satori has a strong feeling for percussive rhythms, funky basslines and melody.
Their productions are getting many support from the big djs/producers like Loco Dice, Karotte, Richie Hawtin, Mattias Tanzmann and Dj Wild to name a few...
