About Dennis Price
Dennis Price was born in 1972 and discovered underground dance music at the age of 10. He has got a very musical family, like his granddad played the organ for years in the famous Westerkerk (church) in the old heart of Amsterdam.
In the early 80’s Dennis Price started DJing at the age of 12 and it was then he started to learn mixing, he practiced 7 hours a day, 7 days a week to understand all aspects in mixing. When Price was 16 years old he invests in the digital format (cd players and cd’s) and he thought this will be the future and he was right. So therefore he has got a huge digital collection of house music.
In the year 1989 he organized his own small house parties. When he was 22 he gained a residency in a club in Amsterdam. He played a few times in Greece and when he was 27 he moved to Australia and played a couple of times in Melbourne.
In the year 2005 he decided to do a Pro-Audio & Recording Engineer Study called Soundseminar and finished this top rated study with good results. Now he is a qualified Recording Engineer and has got his own studio.
Early 2010 Dennis Price released music on the American label Unusual Sound and on the Belgium label B-Progrez (bonzai records) in the style of Deep House / Tech House / Minimal Techno / Techno and Progressive.
2011 Is the year Dennis Price gains a residency at Club NL, every 2nd Sunday of the month he plays together with Paulus dB. 2011 Is also the year he started to release music on the label : 90 Watts.
Dennis Price shared the stage with : Orlando Voorn, Quazar, Angelo D'onorio, 2000 And One, Isis, Lonestriker, Prinz, Tito, Cellie, Will Johnston, Roelove 74, Edgarito, Gino, Melvin Reese, Ruby Wax, Marcussion (live percussion), Zoe Xenia (producer//vocalist), MC Coral (mc/vocalist), Local Hero (live Sax). In clubs like : Jimmy Woo, Studio 80, Sugarfactory, Panama, Escape and Club NL. In 2011 he played at Wooferland Festival.
With his 25 years of DJ experience he is playing from Deep House till Uplifting Techno (and everything in between) in a uplifting way, with his records he is telling the crowd a musical story.
